Congrats

Wow this summer is going way too fast!
School starts in two weeks!
We are so not ready!
We have had such a great summer, I don't want to have start making lunches again!
Anyways, several months ago my niece graduated from 8th grade!
We had a great party and of course that warranted a card!
She always looks so forward to my cards, so this is what I made for her.
Meg, we are so proud of you and good luck with that crazy high school schedule!
Enjoy!

Congrats

My daughter's skating coach recently took a new job.
This job could have huge implications on my daughter's skating career.
We are very excited for her and the future of the skate club.
So we wanted to  make her a card.
I really enjoy using the On Ice stamp set.
I wanted the skates to stand out, so I used Fresh Snow ink on pure poppy cardstock.
The Congrats is from one of the Think Big sets.
I really like the contrast between the red, black and white.
Enjoy!

Congratulations- Graduation

My niece graduated from High School last night.
We are so proud of her!
She has her next 4 years all mapped out and is excited for her future.
Here is the card I made for her.
Using her favorite colors, allowed me to create just the perfect card for her.
Congratulations Aly...we can't wait to see you!
Enjoy!

Congratulations its twins

A friend of mine asked me to make her a baby card for newborn twins.  It sounds easy of enough but I found it difficult to figure out how to include both boy and girl colors without either one of them overwhelming the other.  Well I drew my inspiration from the latest blog hop at Papertrey Ink.  Erin Lincoln in her latest pod cast talked about inspiration and if you see a card do you copy it exactly or put your own spin on it.  I found this topic intriguing because I see so many cards out there I love but do like to add more own spin.  So to make a long story short...Crazycurl made this card for the blog hop:

I loved the simplicity of her design and it got me thinking about how I could incorporate parts of her design into my own.  This is what I came up with......
Thanks Crazycurl for your inspiration!  Enjoy!

Baby-Congratulations

A friend of mine asked me to make some baby cards.  This is not something that I regularly do but baby cards are fun to make!  She requested some girl cards.  I pulled out my Baby Button Bits  and had fun putting this pink card together.  I used my Book Print Impression Plate as a background.  I love all of the texture with the ribbon, buttons and pop dots I used to pop the snail piece.  Enjoy!

Congratulations

Congratulations!  I love the flow of this card and is a perfect card to use as a welcome to the neighborhood and congrats on your new house card.  My friend loved this card and of course the little birdie whistling is just the icing on the cake.  Enjoy!

Congrats

With the kids making their First Communion this weekend, it was a perfect opportunity to make congratulations cards.  For Joshua's, I used my new  woodgrain stamp set, along with Say it with Style and Big Wishes and others.  It was fun to use so many sets to complete this card.

Congratulations

I used my new go to set: Argyle!  I used poppy ink on rustic cream cardstock with dark chocolate touches to make the card complete.  I love the combination!

Congrats

I decided to try a blackand white theme with a little red for this card.  I also thought it would be fun to use some copic markers.  However, I do not have very many of them, so my options were limited!  I am very pleased with the results.  I hope you enjoy as well!
