PTI Anniversary Day 6

 Happy Friday!
Papertrey Ink is continuing it's anniversary party fun!
Today we were asked to pick a sketch and create a card.
I picked sketch #2.
PTI-Sketch-2
As I was reading Nichole's blog today I fell in love with her Celebrating your Birthday card.
So I used her card as inspiration and cased her idea.
Her is my version of her card and sketch # 2.
I continue to love Canyon Clay, so I used both the ink and the Cardstock.
I stamped Beautiful Booms II on Dear Jane paper and added this to a Kraft cardstock base.
The finishing touches include jute twine, a canyon clay button and tea dye ink on the edges.
Have a great weekend.
Enjoy!

Think BIG Challenge

Today at Papertrey Ink, Nichole is hosting a challenge to think big.  Use a big embellishment, tag, button, etc.  I choose to use one of the biggest sentiments I have along with Mat Stack 4 and the big numbers.  I love how the card turned out with added elements of the bakers twine, BB: Text Style in the background and the scor pal marks.  This card packs a BIG punch!  Enjoy!

PTI Color Challenge-#6

This is my final color combo card...whew, while that was fun it is now time to get some work done!  This is by far my favorite card of the bunch.  I love how the background turned out and of course using one of my go to sets, Life, always brings a smile to my face. This color combination is my Betsy Veldman.    I hope you enjoy the last card!

PTI Color Challenge-#2

The Color Challenge continues.  My next card uses Nichole Heady's color combo.
I have to say that I did not even see the card that Nichole made until just now because I printed out the color combo download and went to work.  It is funny how they both have a floral design!  I am so happy with this card.  Enjoy!

PTI Color Challenge-#1

The Papertrey Ink  festivities continue today with a color challenge.  Nichole has asked all of the design team members to pick there favorite color combination and create a card.  Our challenge is to use the colors!  I have made several cards today to participate and my goal was not only to follow the color combination but to use a different stamp set on each card.  This was so much fun!
The first color combination I used was by Heather Nichols.

My color combo.  Enjoy!

Papertrey Ink's 4th Anniversary- #1

Papertrey Ink is celebrating their 4th anniversary this week.  It is such an exciting time because not only are they going to be giving little tidbits of what they are going offer this year but they are holding a contest each day!  Today the contest is to make a card using one of the anniversary tags.  Each one of the designer has submitted one so there are 9 to choose from!  I opted to make a couple of cards from these cute tags.  Here is the firsts one by the talented Lisa Johnson.  I thought that this would be a cute Valentine's Day card.  I hope you enjoy it and all of the other cards that will be submitted today...so much fun!  Enjoy!
