PTI Blog Hop: You...are a blessing to me

I am a little late to enter the blog hop challenge contest but I thought I would still post a card.
The challenge was to use you favorite combination of PTI colors.  I decided to use ocean tides, cream and dark chocolate with my card.  I absolutely love this combination.  To add texture I used a little vellum and cork board.  I hope you enjoy the card.

Friend

I am really enjoying this new set the Lisa Johnson designed, Flutterby Friend.  The possibilities with this set are endless.  Be prepared for many cards using this stamp set!  I especially love the little snail that you can color any color you want!  Since I was using an aqua mist card base, I used matching copics.  I used dark chocolate as a contrasting color with rustic cream that was textured using my woodgrain impression plate.  I finished the card off using dark chocolate buttons and some rustic jute twine.  Enjoy!

Friends

I received my new stamp sets in the mail yesterday, so it was fun to break them open and play with them today.  This simple set by Lisa Johnson pacts a punch!  I love how simplistic its designs are but still allow you to add your own color, if desired.  Enjoy!

Fathers Day

Today I decided to post the Father's Day cards that my kiddos made for their Dad.  They love to get into my supplies and create!  They both wrote nice note to Daddy and we had a great day!  Enjoy!

Friends

Todays card is for a dear family who are moving accross the country.  We are attending their going away party tonight.  It is a bittersweet move for all involved but family is first, so they must go.  They will sorely missed by many people around the Bend.

Thinking of you

Todays card is for a friend that continues to struggles with cancer.  She was to start her treatment yesterday but was too dehydrated, so hopefully tomorrow.  We dropped off a batch of homemade gatorade that will bring a smile to her face.  Keep fighting... the cancer will not win!

Celebrate Today

This card uses my butterfly die with some of the new felt from PTI.  I used a variety of patterned papers to pull off the look.  I love how the colors blend together but it still appears simple and sweet.  Enjoy!

Grateful for you

This card looks like it is on a pink background... hmm, I wonder what happened?  Anyways, this card uses aqua mist as a base with leaf green butterflies and green boutique.  I added a saying from Signature Greetings and some buttons and twine.  I just love the colors of this card!  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday

This card started with a Plum Pudding base and I added rustic white that was distressed on the edges and a finished edge of aqua mist.  I used New Leaf and Say it with Style to add my saying and design.  I finished it with some buttons.  I like how the colors came together for this card.  Enjoy!

I'm here for you

This simple card uses a kraft cardstock base that is topped with pastel and white.  I love the simple look and the added rhinestones for a little bling!  I sewed the edges to give it some texture.

Stop and smell the flowers

This card incorporates some of my favorite color combinations.  I used Dotty Biscotti and aqua mist paper on Kraft cardstock.  I used my bloom die to cut out flowers and added some buttons.  I love how it turned out!  Enjoy!
