Make It Mondays

Untitled-1
This weeks challenge was to use use scor tape and glitter. I heart scor tape!  I have been such a fan for such along time and use it frequently, however, I have never used it with glitter...how fun!  I made a birthday card using Wreath for all Seasons and the saying from Tea for Two Additions.  I love the color combination and how well the glitter looks.  This has been such a fun challenge and it has been great to view all every ones creative ideas with scor tape and glitter!  Enjoy!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This months blog hop at Papertrey Ink is all about scallops.  I decided to use a color combination of ocean tides, scarlet jewel and vintage cream.  I used Little Argyle as a background stamp before my layers.  I then used a scallop border with scarlet jewel ribbon.  Lastly, I stamped Friends are the joy of life from Flutterby Friends and added a butterfly.  Simple and clean.  I hope you enjoy it and join in the blog hop fun!

Happiness

This card has a different feel to it and I love it.  I used an embossing folder for a change of pace.  The simple design and statement work so well with this card.  Enjoy!

Happy Valentine's Day

Two last projects for Valentine's Day.  Over the weekend we made our yummy caramels that we only make once a year.  We packaged several up for the kiddos teachers.  I made a paper favor box to put them in from Papertrey Ink.  The kiddos signed their names and off they went.

Here is my last Valentine's Day card.  Simple and clean using Love Birds.  Enjoy the day with your loved ones!  We have fun plans for the kiddos tonight!

Think BIG Challenge

Today at Papertrey Ink, Nichole is hosting a challenge to think big.  Use a big embellishment, tag, button, etc.  I choose to use one of the biggest sentiments I have along with Mat Stack 4 and the big numbers.  I love how the card turned out with added elements of the bakers twine, BB: Text Style in the background and the scor pal marks.  This card packs a BIG punch!  Enjoy!

Tags & Frames

Today's challenge at Papertrey Ink was to create a tag using one of the fillable frames.  I absolutely love how versatile all of these sets, so this was so much fun to create.  I started with Tag 3, added the fillable frame that I used text style in versamark on, stamped Happy Birthday and added the butterfly.  So fun and will add the perfect touch to that gift!  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Here is a simple birthday card.  I love how it turned out with ocean tides ink and button.  Plus I used my Signature Series: Butterfly Die, so fun!
We have another snow today, the temperatures are pretty frigid and they city is still getting the roads clear.  The kids are bummed because it is spirit week and they are missing all of their dress down days!  Hopefully there is school tomorrow!  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Well it snowed, not a huge amount maybe about 8 inches (this is normal for this area!) at our house but we do have some big drifts!  Enough that I can't get the snow blower through them...so out my husband goes!  School was cancelled but it is a beautiful bright day, so we will enjoy some time outside playing!  I also look forward to some craft time!
Today's card is so fun because of the layers of purple and I finally inked up a new set, Signature Series: Cupcake.  I purchased a mixed bag of bakers twine from Niki Estes and found the perfect color to go with my card!  Enjoy!
