Skate Indy 2012 part 2

Where has this week gone?
We have been busy finishing up 4H projects and enjoying the heat!
My daughter has a blast in Indy last week!
All of her teammates skated great and placed well!
Abby skated 3 events including a new one that she thoroughly enjoyed!
Enjoy a few pictures of her and hopefully I can find my craft room soon!
Have a great weekend!

Skate Indy 2012

In just a little bit we are heading down to Indy so that my daughter can skate.
We have been here before and this is always a fun competition to compete at.
This year should be interesting since this is the first year my daughter is skating a showcase,
plus she is far more advance than last year, so the competition is tougher!
She will do great!
We made some tags to give to all of the skaters and coaches from her club.
Our colors are navy blue and green, so I opted to go with bright colors since
navy is hard to work with sometimes, plus a lot of the girls are
girly girls (outside of my daughter!), so the colors are just perfect!
My favorite part is the little shamrock that I added in the skate.
Our logo has this and I found a shamrock in the Luck of the Irish set from PTI.
My daughters teammates will love them and they will all Sk8Gr8!
Good luck.....IRISH FIGURE SKATING CLUB!
Have a terrific weekend!

Father's Day

After an amazing day with family on Saturday, we celebrated
Father's Day with my husband and my Dad.
We had such a great day!
My husband did a whole lot of nothing, including a nap, which is unusual for him!
The kids made him this awesome album .
They had a blast putting it together!
Here is the card that I made for my Dad.
He is an amazing guy with such quiet strength!
I used Washi tape in the background.
This was a first for me and certainly will not be the last!
I picked Washi tape to participate in the latest Papertrey Princess Challenge.
I hope all the amazing Dads out there had a great day!

Graduation

This is the time of year for graduations.
My niece and nephew graduated from High School two weeks ago.
We are heading up to visit them for a huge party this weekend!
The kiddos can't wait to see their cousins and I can't wait
to say that the week is done.
It has been a crazy busy week on the ice with hockey camp and
endless hours of skating practice for my daughters competition next week.
We are ready to heads to a friends house to hang out by the pool on this hot Friday afternoon!
Here is the card I made for my nephew.
We are so incredible proud of him!
He is headed to Michigan Tech on an engineering scholarship!
Way to go Boomer!

Here is a look at the present that we put together for him.
I got the idea Here
Super easy and fun plus it will be the perfect gift....MONEY!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Teacher Thanks

We are officially into the 3rd day of summer already...seriously it is already going way too fast!
Of course it doesn't help that the kids are super busy!
The second teacher card I made used all the same papers just in a different format.
I love the color combination, especially since it is non traditional!
Have a super weekend!
Enjoy!

Schools Out!!

School is out in less than 2 hours!
I can't wait!
It has been a fabulous year but we are ready for a little bit less structure...summer here we come!
Today's card is one of the teacher thank you cards I made this year.
I decided to go with non traditional colors and I am so glad I did!
Hope you summer is off to a fabulous start!
