This weeks Make it Mondays was masking with dies.
This was a fun challenge for me because while I use my dies frequently, I have not used this technique.
I opted to use my Flower Fusion # die and masked with aqua mist, orange zest and hibiscus.
I added a hibiscus center using a dot from Dot Spots.
The background on the flowers was made by using Tin Types in hibiscus.
I used the Flower Fusion #1 stem in simply chartreuse and the sentiment as well (it is in the top right corner, it did not show up well in the picture!)
I distressed the edges and added a ribbon in ripe avocado before adding a strip of patterned paper on my spring rain card base.
I am really please with how this card turned out. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteThis is a really sweet card. Fun colors. I love the use of tintypes to give the flowers texture. If I had that stamp set, I'd have to try it.
