Paperdolls Challenge #22-CAS

With this card, I am participating in the Paperdolls Challenge.

This challenge was to create a card in the clean and simple style, use white space with a pop of color.  I thought that this card would be easy for me because I usually make cards in the clean and simple style but with so much white space, I have to admit that I struggled a bit.

I knew I wanted to do something for fall with the colors but actually coming up with the design took me a while.  I am so glad I challenged myself to look at the white space as a positive!  I love the look and will have to do this again in the future!

Enjoy!

Papertrey Paperdolls Challenge # 17

This weeks Papertrey Paperdolls Challenge was to make a Dawn inspired card.  I love to read Dawn's blog and her style is all her own.  I really enjoy how she incorporates so many elements into a card.  For this challenge I used her It's Official paper, along with her new stamp set Just the Ticket.  Thanks for your continued inspiration Dawn and to Papertrey Paperdolls Challenge for making me think outside the box!  Enjoy!

Paper Dolls Challenge #11

This weeks challenge from Paper Dolls was to create a non standard sized card.  Meaning avoid the 5.5 x 4.25.  This is such an easy size to make, so it was nice to think outside the box and see what I could create.  I actually decided to make two cards, both 3 x 6.  I think I found this challenging because you get so used to the standard size that you know how things look.  So making these two cards may have taken a little extra time but I love the results.  The second one is perfect for the 4th tomorrow. Enjoy!
